[From 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday]
Cool interview tonight with Josh Hanson, lead singer and songwriter for indie folk trio Yellow Red Sparks. You can learn more about their new self-titled album and see videos on their website at yellowredsparks.com. Here are the songs we played:
“Monsters with Misdemeanors”
“A Play to End All Plays”
“My Machine Gun”
“Happiness Comes in a Box”
“Scents and Sensibilities”
“A Buffalo”
“To Love and Loathe”
“Hope on a Rope”
“Yellow Red Sparks”

From there, we did the local event roundup and then some new music.
“Everybody’s Cryin’ Mercy” – Brother Sun
“Easy Money” – Kally O’Malley
“Another Sunday Psalm” – The Leisure Society
“Koo Koo the Bird Girl” – Naymedici

We capped it off with a couple of songs for the Red-Headed Stranger’s 80th birthday.
“Seven Spanish Angels” – Willie Nelson and Ray Charles
“On the Road Again” – Willie Nelson

Tune in next Tuesday at 7, when my guest will be singer/songwriter and jazz guitarist Leni Stern. I’m looking forward to this one, and so should you.
