[From 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday]
Didn’t have a guest again this week, so I considered this my bonus birthday show and played whatever the heck I wanted.

In honor of the Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels concert Saturday at Tioga Downs Casino, I played three tunes from them: “Devil with a Blue Dress / Good Golly Miss Molly,” “Little Latin Lupe Lu” and “Jenny Takes a Ride.”

From there, it was all up to my whim.
“Fresh Strawberries” – Franz Ferdinand (NEW)
“All 'Cause of You” – The 88
“Zombies” – Space
“Dancing Out in Space” – David Bowie
“Remote Control” – Silverclub
“Roadshow” – Wires in the Walls (NEW)
“America Town” – Five for Fighting
“Alive” – Dala
“Jump the Broom” – Adrienne Young
“I Forget About Her Every Day” – Paul Sachs
“Used Cars” – Terence Martin
“Highwayman” – The Highwaymen
“Seven Nation Army” – Oak Ridge Boys
“Texas Underground” – Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer
“Alice’s Champagne Palace” – Ellis Paul
“Captain Kidd” – Tempest (in honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Thursday)

Next week, I’ll have an all-star panel talking about the RoberCon sci-fi convention at Roberson Museum and Science Center on Sept. 29. You won’t want to miss it.
