[From 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday]

Started off the show with the usual events roundup, then a tune from Marc Berger’s album “Ride” – “A Bottle Of Wine, A Suitcase, An Umbrella” – since he’ll be back at Cyber Cafe West in Binghamton at 9 p.m. Friday.

Then there was a fun interview with local singer/songwriter JimmyJohn McCabe, who performs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday at Fitzie’s Irish Pub in Binghamton. We even premiered a couple of tunes from a project called F1, recorded in 2006 but may finally get released this year. Here’s what we played:
“Will You Be Mine”
“Sweet On You”
“Road to Montreal”
“Keep Breathing” (F1)
“On File”
“Where We’re Going” (F1)

From there, we did a new station ID and track from the Tejas Brothers – “Chasin’ Down the Devil.”

Then a little tribute to a few winners of the Kerrville New Folk Competition who I happen to know.
“Blackbird” – Ellis Delaney (NEW)
“Dirty Trucks” – Paul Sachs
“Two Yellow Roses” – Ed Romanoff

More new tunes:
“Pity Song” – Melissa Ferrick
“Little Lost Bird” – My Sweet Patootie
“Letter from Down the Road” – Della Mae
“Drives Me To Drinking” – Underhill Rose
“The Owl and the Full Moon” – Adam Marsland

And finally, a mostly unplanned half-hour of Kinks-related tunes:
“I Saw the Light That Day” – The 88 (NEW)
“Little Green Amp” / “Midnight in LA” – Dave Davies (NEW)
“Mr. Spaceman” – William Shatner (featuring Dave Davies)
“Hymn for a New Age” / “The Real World” – Ray Davies

Next Tuesday at 7 p.m., I’ll chat with singer/songwriter Peyton Tochterman, who performs June 8 at 6 On The Square in Oxford.
