Gmornin Gang! I hope everyone is well on this fine Christmas Eve day…Stockings stuffed? Everything wrapped? Since our youngest is now 20(!!!!!) my wife and I brought the presents up from our super-secret stash spot the other night. Our daughter was a little disappointed….My wife looked at her and said “you lug the gifts up Christmas Eve!!!! Case closed. I’m trying to spread a little Christmas cheer this morning with everyone. Yes….record #1…1969 on the Atlantis label. I’m going to follow that up with some Jethro Tull…..turns out JT had a song other than Auqualung…..and Locomotive Breath? Commercial type of radio listenin’ folks will probably only recognize one tune off the JT record. Maybe I shouldn’t play it?! I’m messin’ with you…..surely. Along with these fine selections…my usual eclectic mix of non commercial goodies! I hope everyone has a great holiday! Were you naughty or nice this year? [From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday]

Great time with Jesse Wheeler and Mike Toyryla from Tijuana Danger Dogs. We chatted about the new EP, “Danger is Our Middle Name,” which comes out Dec. 21 (whether the world ends or not). We also shared a couple of tracks from their other band, Castle Bravo. Learn more about them at Here’s what we played:
“Rape Me”
“Nostradamus” (Castle Bravo)
“Go to Hell” (Castle Bravo)
“Total Control”

This is the last show of the semester, which means we go back to three-hour shows for the holiday break. Next Tuesday at 7 p.m., I’ll use that time to share some of my favorite music of 2012. You don’t want to miss it.
