It’s back again, 16 years running! For those unfamiliar, Marathon is, in simplest terms, fun and games on air for 24 hours, slowly forgetting what natural light looks like for us DJs. Some of the games in the past making a return are One Word Stories, Iron DJ, and Guess the Drop.

Paul was the GM of WHRW from 1998-2000. He was known in his time for having his own 24 hour marathons. Paul was tragically killed in the September 11th Attacks in 2001, so to honor his memory, we have held this marathon every year since. This year, we will also be remembering Tom Siglin, our Chief Engineer for nearly 40 years, who passed away after a battle with cancer in January.

Tune in from 1 PM this Friday until 1 PM Saturday to hear a fun day of radio. Feel free to call in and participate in some of our games!
