Vinyl Week (category: General)
This week is Vinyl Week! It wil be running from Sunday February 22 though Saturday February 29th. This means we are encouraging the DJs to have a show where they primarily use vinyl records instead of CDs or tapes or the computer.
Why you ask. Well several reasons. First, its a good way to find music you usually don't play. If you don't play vinyl EVER, you are missing a great resource that we have at WHRW. Find the music that inspired the people you listen to, to become musicians. Also, its a great opportunity for all of the apprentices to lean how to use and cue up the record players.
