January 28th will be WHRW's Spring 2003 General Interest Meeting (GIM). If you want to become a DJ at WHRW THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!
If you want to become a DJ at WHRW just come to the West Lounge of the Old University Union at 5pm on the 28th. We'll explain all about the station, what we do, and how you can become a member and get your very own radio show. ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERENCE IS NECESSARY! If you've never spoken into a mic or used audio equipment don't worry, all you need is a willingness to learn and we'll take you the rest of the way.
Returning station members, you know the drill... 6pm will be the meeting for you to come and get show request forms (and listen to me blab for a little while, but hey there are worse things.... right?).
Can't make the meeting? : If your a current station member and would like to request a show just drop by the station after the GIM and the forms will be there.
If your new to WHRW and cant make the meeting just come by our studios in the basement and say hi and well let you know what you've got to do.
OTHER IMPORTANT DATES COMING UP
Febuary 1st, 2-4pm, in Lecture Hall 3 - Apprentice Classes (Highly recommended for first time clears)
Febuary 2nd, 11am - 2 pm, also LH 3 - Clerance Exams (with hands on tech tests later that same day)
Febuary 10th or 11th - Programming Starts!
So pass the word on and find some friends to come to the GIM. I'll see you all there.
